Bali is paradise for motorcycles- mostly decent roads surround by gorgeous cliffs, stunningly green rice paddies, mountains, oceans- so much beauty it will make your eyes bleed.
The majority of the video is spent on a Honda Vario in/around Canggu Bali. The last part takes place on a MalaMadre custom bike on Bali east coast.
Honda Varios can be rented for less than $2USD per day if you're renting over a month. A bigger custom bike can be rented from shops like MalaMadre Motorcycles for about $25 USD a day (cheaper if you rent for a week/month at a time). There are also plenty of small motorcycle rental outfits in Bali but the chopped up Frankenstein bikes they rent out are just begging to break down when its most inconvenient for you. Best to stick with reputable shops like MalaMadre if you're going to rent a proper bike.
There are endless small roads to explore via motorcycle in Bali. In an upcoming video we'll chronicle some of the MANY amazing sites to explore in Bali and the route we took on a 3 day motorbike trip.
Surfing, snorkeling with Mantas in Nusa Penida, and hanging out in Uluwatu are some of the most popular things to do in Bali. Since we still had guests in town it was time to knock some of these things off the to do list.
Tourists actually have to leave the island of Bali and head south east to Nusa Penida to swim where the Manta Rays are more commonly found. If you’re interested in swimming with the Mantas I would recommend that you triple check with your tour that it’s focus is the mantas. Sadly, we ended up on the wrong tour through some miscommunication and to this day, have only seen mantas by googling. It’s very sad.
Surfing in Bali is the primary draw for many tourists to the island. During our time in Bali, some of us became gods of the surf who only answered to the ocean. Others surfed the white wash at the beginner beach. True legends aren’t born- they’re made. If you want to become a surf hero in Canggu area reach out to Jaya- his lessons are awesome. He’ll babysit you if you need it. If you’re a peacock that’s got to fly, he’ll let you fly. https://www.facebook.com/groups/BaliS...
Leila visits Bali!. The girls took a scooter trip to Uluwatu where they earned some of the best hangovers of their lives while hanging out at Single Fin Bali, explore Uluwatu temple and admire the Blue Point Hotel Pool.
Come check out our luxury Bali Villa tour! While in Bali we were able to trade drone footage and photographs for a few free nights at different villas. If you’ve seen any of our other episodes- you’ll know these aren’t our typical digs. Million dollar views and infinity pools and are nice change of pace.
While at the Villa Finney had time to put together a recap video for our channel of everywhere we were able to visit over the past ten months. Timing couldn’t be more bittersweet as it’s also time for me to head home and start work back in the states. Finney becomes the first person in history to ever feel sad to have to stay in Bali longer than expected.
Bali is a beautiful place that can be done on a budget. For even $20/day we hung out in the trendy area of Canggu.
Here we dive into what it costs to eat, live, and work abroad while hanging out in the Canggu area of Bali.
Canggu in Bali, Indonesia was the ideal place for us to set up shop while we started working on a reentry plan to the US after being abroad for more than eight months. Our goal was to stay in one area for a while as well as still be able to explore a new place, enjoy beaches and great weather, and live the surf bum lifestyle. Canggu can’t be beat for that.
After a two week hiatus from filming, we were joined for a Bali Island road trip by friends Clayton and Emma. We rode scooters for Canggu to Jatiluwih Rice Terrace, Ubud, Aling-Aling Waterfall (Buleleng), and checked out a volcano….or two. Not really sure what we were staring at- either Mt Agung or Mt Batur. I’m sure someone will correct us multiple times in the comments.
What is it like living in Canggu Bali? We spent 2 months living in Canggu and want to share it with you!
All of the top things to do in Bali like surfing, snorkeling, Hanging out in Canggu, Ubud and Uluwatu
